Method 1: Using a WAEC Result Checker PIN

  1. Purchase a WAEC Result Checker PIN: These are readily available at designated vendors across the country.
  2. Visit the WAEC website: Open your phone’s browser and navigate to https://ghana.waecdirect.org/.
  3. Click on “Result Checker.”
  4. Input your details:
    • Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
    • Select “WASSCE” as the Examination Type.
    • Choose “2024” for the Examination Year.
  5. Provide the PIN details:
    • Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number found on your scratchcard.
    • Key in the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN.
  6. Click “Submit” and view your results: Your 2024 WASSCE results will be displayed on your phone screen.

Method 2: Using SMS (text message)

  1. Ensure you have enough credit: Sending an SMS costs a specific fee, so check your mobile network plan beforehand.
  2. Open your phone’s messaging app.
  3. Compose a new message:
    • In the message body, type “WAECExamNoPIN*ExamYear”. (Replace “ExamNo” with your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number, “PIN” with your e-PIN, and “ExamYear” with 2024.)
    • Important: There should be no spaces between the characters.
  4. Send the message to 32327: This is the shortcode used by major mobile network operators in Ghana (MTN, Celtel & Glo).
  5. Receive your results: You’ll receive a text message containing your 2024 WASSCE results.

Important Tips:

  • Double-check your information: Ensure all details entered, including your WAEC Examination Number, PIN, and exam year, are accurate to avoid errors.
